*A successful career as a Veterinary Triage Assistant at Animal Emergency Care requires:*

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years of experience, working as a veterinary assistant in a veterinary clinic or hospital
  • Desire to always seek the highest standards for our patients
  • Ability to approach each patient, co-worker, and pet parent with compassion
  • Confidence in emergent situations
  • Drive to expand your mind at every opportunity
  • A Veterinary Triage Assistant should come to Animal Emergency Care with some exposure in the veterinary field within her or his toolkit and be prepared to expand on these skills.
