*A successful career as a Veterinary Triage Assistant at Animal Emergency Care requires:*
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two years of experience, working as a veterinary assistant in a veterinary clinic or hospital
- Desire to always seek the highest standards for our patients
- Ability to approach each patient, co-worker, and pet parent with compassion
- Confidence in emergent situations
- Drive to expand your mind at every opportunity
- A Veterinary Triage Assistant should come to Animal Emergency Care with some exposure in the veterinary field within her or his toolkit and be prepared to expand on these skills.
