Additional Payment Options

At Animal Emergency Care, we understand that the unexpected injury or illness of a pet means unexpected expenses for many families. AEC has partnered with several third-party financing services to offer our clients the largest selection of flexible payment options available at any veterinary hospital in our area.

Where does your money go?

Animal Emergency Care (AEC) was established by local veterinarians as a vital resource for the community. Owned cooperatively by numerous family veterinarians, AEC prioritizes exceptional care over profit. The owners ensure that revenue covers only operational costs, allowing our hospital to reinvest in maintaining high standards of care. This approach highlights their commitment to pet health and well-being, fostering a sustainable and compassionate veterinary practice focused on quality patient care and establishing trust between clients and veterinarians.

Planning for the Future with Trupanion: Our Preferred Pet Insurance Partner

While pet health insurance is a wonderful option for making veterinary care more affordable, most plans require that you pay the bill and submit invoices for reimbursement. Trupanion, however, offers participating veterinary hospitals the option to be paid directly by Trupanion—so you do not have to pay your entire bill out of pocket, only your deductible and any portion not covered by your plan. Animal Emergency Care participates in this service, and we encourage you to apply for coverage before your family experiences a veterinary emergency.

It is important to know that pet insurance only provides coverage if you have a policy in place before care is needed. So please plan ahead—and do not apply for an insurance policy while en route with a medical emergency because it will not be covered.
