Hospitalization, Continuous Care Patient (Life Support)
$152 / hour (4-hr increments) Pets who are actively experiencing organ failure, respiratory arrest, or imminent death. Crucial, second-by-second life-support interventions are needed — such as mechanical ventilators, continuous emergency drug infusions, or active resuscitation protocols — and the AEC medical team must manually sustain the pet’s life.
Hospitalization, Critical Patient
$72 / hour (4-hr increments) ICU patients who are seriously ill or unstable, but breathing on their own. They require continuous vital monitoring, frequent medication adjustments, and constant nursing supervision to prevent them from slipping into a life-threatening crisis.
Hospitalization, Stable Patient
$47 / hour (4-hr increments) For pets who are out of immediate danger but still require routine medications, IV fluid maintenance, and regular medical check-ins from our nursing team as they recover.
