Crucial, second-by-second life-support interventions are needed — such as mechanical ventilators, continuous emergency drug infusions, or active resuscitation protocols — and the AEC medical team must manually sustain the pet’s life.

$72 / hour (4-hr increments) ICU patients who are seriously ill or unstable, but breathing on their own. They require continuous vital monitoring, frequent medication adjustments, and constant nursing supervision to prevent them from slipping into a life-threatening crisis.
